Label: Slow Burn
Format: CD album
Release Date: 30.12.2013

The second album by the Belgium band continues traditions of the debut album “The Long Now” being, however, more conceptual. Interlaced guitar passages create an inimitable atmosphere typical for post rock while sludge metal riffs do not allow to monotony to dominate. Episodic appearance of bugle and trumpet ensure new sound which is not common for post metal. The album is addressed to fans of Isis, Cult Of Luna, Mouth Of The Architect, Rosetta.

LICREST: Fresh oldschool Death/Doom Metal from the States

There is not much information about the band LICREST from the USA but "Dooooooom!" to be read on their homepage. Listen to and download their self-released debut album, "Devoid Of Meaning", which was released on the 25th of August. Serves oldschool Death/Doom Metal tunes in the vein of early My Dying Bride and Katatonia, in conversation with Pete Steel and contemporaries. The gothic influence seems obvious.

The album is prepared with assistance of . Jerry Torstensson (Draconian) who recorded drum parties, and mastered sound at the DeadDogFarmStudio (Sweden). The album features artwork by Roman Kamin (Revelations of Rain, Wine FromTears, Tribute To Thergothon).
