After nearly a year of writing and recording, HIGHGATE is back with their third full length, entitled "Survival". Since 2005 the band has been churning out challenging releases blurring the lines between doom, black metal, and all-out noise. "Survival" is the newest chapter in the HIGHGATE saga and tells the story of man’s struggle and acceptance in the world after total catastrophe strikes. Fans of the band will be pleased to hear the familiar sonic maelstrom but with a marked level of progression in the band’s sound.
"Survival" was recorded at Candyland Studios at various times in 2012 with Mike Montgomery once again at the helm. TotalRust will release CD version and we are currently talking with other labels about the LP license (labels that are interested - please feel free to get in touch).
