"Es ist wieder einmal vollbracht! Das neue DOOM METAL FRONT-Magazin #11 ist bereit auf die Menschheit losgelassen zu werden. Im Moment rollt es noch gemütlich durch die Druckerpresse, aber schon bald im Doom-Tempo über die ganze Welt.
It is finished, again! The new DOOM METAL FRONT magazine issue #11 is ready to rain down on mankind. Currently it is still rolling through the printing press, but very soon over the whole world in Doom speed.
Mit etwas Stolz präsentieren wir euch dieses Mal spannende Interviews mit niemand geringerem als Lee Dorrian, der mit uns über den Aufstieg bis zum Renteneintritt der Doom-Legende CATHEDRAL und über sein Plattenlabel Rise Above Records gesprochen hat - mit EYEHATEGOD, den Sludge-Erfindern aus New Orleans, deren Schlagzeuger Joey LaCaze kurz nach der Europatour auf tragische Weise von uns gegangen ist und mit MOTHER OF GOD, WINDHAND, AGE OF TAURUS, AMENRA, DEVIL, MOURNFUL CONGREGATION, GRAVES AT SEA, OCEAN CHIEF, MONACHUS, EVANGELIST, SERPENT VENOM, COUGH, DEZAFRA RIDGE, MARBLE CHARIOT, SAMOTHRACE und OFFICIUM TRISTE.
We proudly present to you thrilling interviews with none other than Lee Dorrian, who has talked to us about the rising up until approaching retirement of the Doom Metal legends CATHEDRAL and about his label Rise Above Records - also with the inventors of Sludge Metal, EYEHATEGOD from New Orleans, whose drummer Joey La Caze has passed away tragically short after the band's European tour, and with MOTHER OF GOD, WINDHAND, AGE OF TAURUS, AMENRA, DEVIL, MOURNFUL CONGREGATION, GRAVES AT SEA, OCEAN CHIEF, MONACHUS, EVANGELIST, SERPENT VENOM, COUGH, DEZAFRA RIDGE, MARBLE CHARIOT, SAMOTHRACE and OFFICIUM TRISTE.
Additionally, Frank and Jochen tell you, why they exactly have buried the first ever Doom Metal festival that has existed throughout the European continent, the unique DOOM SHALL RISE, after this year's edition. The Roots Of Doom series takes you to The Early Seventies when BLACK SABBATH laid the foundation for everything that is divided into countless sub-genres today - the Heavy Metal, which the Doom belongs to, of course, in all its varieties.
