Die vierte Ausgabe des Festivals wird vom 23ten bis zum 25ten April 2015 und wie üblich im berühmten ASTRA-Kulturhaus stattfinden, mitten im pulsierenden Kultur-Herzen Berlins (F-Hain/X-Berg).

Im Programm: 2 Bühnen, ca. 25 Bands an 3 Tagen, ein Biergarten, ein Hippie-Markt und Kunstausstellungen - ihr kennt die Formel - und dazu einige neue Überraschungen, über die ihr bald mehr erfahren werdet.

Im September wurden die ersten Bands des Line-ups bekannt gegeben, welches euch mit einigen exklusiven Shows umhauen wird: die Special-Show zum 20-jährigen Jubiläum von ORANGE GOBLIN, die Album-Release-Party von MY SLEEPING KARMA und der Headliner-Gig der Hard-Rock-Helden RED FANG an einem der drei Abende.

The fourth edition of the festival will take place once again in the famous ASTRA Kulturhaus, in the beating cultural heart of BERLIN (F-Hain/X-Berg), from APRIL 23TH to 25TH 2015.

On the programme: 2 stages, around 25 bands playing across the 3 days, a beergarden, a hippie corner market and art exhibits - you know the formula - but also a bunch of new suprises that you will discover soon enough.

RED FANG: Scion AV Presents US Spring Tour!

Scion Audio Visual presents RED FANG's Spring tour, "Situation: AWESOME!," the Portland band's first Stateside outing in 2014. The one-month trek kicks off May 16 at Slim's in San Francisco and includes a stop at Scion AV's Rock Fest in Pomona on May 17. RED FANG will also be joined by Big Business and American Sharks.

As part of the Scion AV-sponsored tour, RED FANG will release a new single titled "The Meadows" in early May, with a limited edition 7-inch available along the tour. A video for the song will arrive during the Situation: AWESOME! tour.

Red Fang: Release Playthrough Video

Portland, OR's hard rock heroes RED FANG have revealed a "playthrough" video for the song "No Hope" off their latest album Whales and Leeches. In keeping up with with the rising popularity of instructional videos, the members got together to show their fans and critics how to play the track on a variety of non-traditional instruments. Check out the clip streaming exclusively via Gear Gods here.

Additionally, the band is gearing up to kick off the second leg of their headlining European tour with label-mates Lord Dying and The Shrine. A full list of dates including many recently upgraded, bigger venues is included below along with a string of recently announced European summer festival appearances. The band will also be playing a special hometown show at the Wonder Ballroom on March 8th in Portland, OR before embarking on the month long trek.

RED FANG: Bereiten sich auf zweiten Teil der Europatour vor | Prepare for second leg of European tour

Following a successful first leg, RED FANG are preparing to head back to Europe for the second leg of their monster European tour. Having conquered multiple European cities in January and February, the Portland quartet returned home to regroup before setting their sights back on this side of the pond in March.

Part two of the tour - on which they will once again be joined by The Shrine and label mates Lord Dying - will kick off in two weeks time in Cologne, Germany. The original venues in both Paris and London sold out in advance and as a consequence were upgraded. The upgraded venue, The Trabendo, in Paris has once again sold out, however tickets are still available for the upgraded venue at the Electric Ballroom in London.

Drummer, John Sherman, commented: "The first leg of our European tour with the Shrine and Lord Dying was completely nuts!  We can't wait to get back and start leg two in a few weeks.  The Paris and London shows have already sold out and been upgraded to bigger venues, so the word must be out - this tour is not to be missed!  See ya soon!!"

RED FANG have released video for "Blood Like Cream"! Their extensive European Tour starts in January 2014

While RED FANG wrap their way across the US tour this month, the rising rock group have released the video for “Blood Like Cream”, the first single off their new album WHALES AND LEECHES (Relapse).

“In keeping with a long tradition dating back to 2007, we have made another epic, hilarious video with Whitey McConnaughy, the content of which is completely unrelated to the lyrical content of the song,” explains the band’s bassist/vocalist Aaron Beam. “This song is about the stress of balancing a touring lifestyle with having a family back home, but who wants to see a video about that? BORING! Instead, we have a video featuring lots of blood, beer, and exercise--some of us did more running in this video that we’ve done the whole year to date. Also, Fred Armisen is in this one and he really steals the show. I thought I was a bad actor before, but after working with him, I see I cannot even qualify for such a high distinction as ‘bad.’ We hope everyone has as much fun watching it as we had making it!!”

Whales and Leeches was recorded with producer Chris Funk (Decemberists) and mixed by Vance Powell (White Stripes, Raconteurs, Kings of Leon) - the same creative forces behind RED FANG’s Murder The Mountains album, which was released in 2011. This time around, RED FANG have enlisted the help of guests Mike Scheidt (Yob) and Pall Jenkins (The Black Heart Procession), helping to propel the album.

Whales and Leeches will be released on October 18 in Benelux/GAS/Finland and on October 21 in the UK and rest of Europe; physical copies are currently available to pre-order from the Relapse store here, and to obtain an exclusive track, digital pre-orders are available via iTunes here.

The Portland, OR-based group RED FANG have revealed details for their third studio album Whales And Leeches which will arrive October 15 on Relapse Records. Beyond the standard CD, LP and digital formats, Whales And Leeches will be available in Deluxe CD, Deluxe Double Vinyl and Deluxe Digital editions which will feature two bonus tracks (see the full tracklisting below), expanded packaging and a 3-D lenticular moving cover of the stunning artwork. RED FANG announce album title and reveal cover artwork

RED FANG will return this October with its third studio album titled "Whales And Leeches" on Relapse Records. Relaps Records: RED FANG European Summer Tour + Festival Appearances

Fresh off a sold out Soundwave Festival and Australian tour, hard rock heroes RED FANG have announced a six week long European summer tour including numerous festival appearances. The tour kicks off May 31st at Spain's Sonisphere Festival and includes special appearances at Hellfest, Graspop and previously uncharted territories. A complete listing of dates is listed below.

This marks the third time the band has set foot across the pond since the release of 2011's critically acclaimed Murder The Mountains. Drummer John Sherman commented on the upcoming run: 

"We are super excited to get back to Europe this summer and hit some places we've always wanted to play, but for one reason or another were not able to - Ireland, Turkey, Iceland, and finally Poland!  And to be a part of some of the bigger festivals with huge names like IRON MAIDEN is just mind blowing.  It's gonna be a hectic, busy, sleepless, kickass 6 week party!"

RED FANG recently blessed the world with a new video for their infectious song "Dirt Wizard'. The video, another collaboration with Whitey McConnaughy, chronicles the foursome as they tour throughout Europe. Additionally, the band recently released a new single, "Crows in Swine", which saw its official release as a split 7" with label-mates ASG via Relapse Records. RED FANG have begun writing their highly anticipated follow-up to 2011’s Murder The Mountains and plan to enter the studio in the near future. Details will be announced shortly.
