ISAAK: Small Stone Recordings' Stonerrock protegees announce European Tour after they've been robbed

"A month ago we've been robbed of most of our gears in our rehearsal room. Amps and cabs, instruments, computer etc... In that particular period we were busy in pre-production recordings for our new album and we were also preparing for our new tour. After some very bad days, our reaction is now very strong. We just don't wanna fall apart. So a couple of weeks ago we organized a 30-days fund raising via Kapipal (see link below). People can support us giving us the chance to buy again our gears, and they can receive exclusive issues too. In fact in these days we're recording a brand new single at Green Fog Studio, thanks to Mattia Cominotto (who brilliantly recorded also all our previous issues since we were Gandhi's Gunn) that will be released via fund raising in a limited edition tape cassette version and in mp3 format. You can also find an exclusive poster, t-shirt and the very rare white LP vinyl “The Longer The Beard The Harder The Sound” by Gandhi's Gunn released in 2012 by Taxi Driver Records. Those last copies are now available thanks to the label, which gave them to us for found raising.

We have already collected  3000$ (goal is 7000$) and we are so grateful for the huge help we're receiving. And we're now so happy to announce our first gigs around Europe!" - ISAAK

ISAAK: Professional gang entered the band's rehearsal studio and stole the whole property - YOU CAN HELP!

"Try to imagine walking down to your rehearsal, thinking about the riffs, building the songs of your new record… then you realize something bad in the air: arrived the rehearsal you discover nothing more has left…"

This is the official first statement after a professional gang entered ISAAK's rehearsal studio and stole the whole property of the band: cabinets, mixers, guitars, bass, drums ...everything.

“Lock broken, doors damaged and your whole life... empty. That's what no-one should experience. It's like your whole life disappeared over night”, says the band again. “This was the place we focused our ideas and wrote for the new album, tentative schedule for Small Stone Records fall 2014.“ ISAAK spent a horrible week while watching video and foto recording made by the police and whatever.

... We immediately spoke with Scott Hamilton, our label manager, and have had a meeting with our manager Mario Ruggeri of The Crew. We decided to react instantly. So we started investing all our money but we are still far from recoup everything”.

At this point ISAAK is 10,000$ far from its goal, and that’s the reason band decided to open a crowdfunding action.

“We thought about this and that and what could help to get back on track. So we fixed a certain amount of rewards and setted up a crowdfunding action."

“This is the beginning of the beginning. We are also planning some benefit shows. Then we'll close ourselves up in the studio to write the new album. But therefore we need everybody’s help!"

But don’t worry: Isaak is stronger than ever!

SASQUATCH: New album "IV" will be released on Small Stone Recordings, September 24th

After bursting onto the stoner rock scene with, not one, but two, closely packed studio albums (conveniently named Sasquatch I and II) in 2004 and ’06, the power trio went subterranean until 2010 before resurfacing with a new lineup and propulsive third opus (entitled, you guessed it, III), to the relief of many impatient fans and the Small Stone Records Board of Directors.

More importantly though, this career-establishing trilogy managed to seduce consumers and critics: beginning with the debut’s roaring-down-the-highway riffs, hypnotic grooves and occasional forays into southern rock; continuing with the sophomore LP’s increasingly focused, hook-laden hard rock classicism (standout “Barrel of a Gun” lacked only payola to become a massive radio hit); and culminating in the third album’s heightened states of fuzz-distortion and earth-rumbling power chords, capable of reducing Marshall stacks to so much plastic pudding.

All the while, Sasquatch steadily brought their advanced heavy rock ‘theories’ to the people, as they demolished stages across the globe alongside the likes of Blue Cheer, Nebula, Unida, Solace and Fatso Jetson, to name but a few. Most recently, the band was sighted marauding across Europe with Small Stone label mates Roadsaw & DixieWitch.

Now the time has finally come for Sasquatch members Keith Gibbs (guitar, vox), Jason Casanova (bass) and Rick Ferrante (drums) to deliver a brand-spanking new album, whose chosen title – IV – was as inevitable as the urgent need shared by discerning fans of superior, song-oriented rock to HEAR IT – and pronto!

What you will hear is arguably the power trio’s most mature, inspired and diverse song-set to date, rife with compositional twists, both heartwarmingly familiar and totally unexpected, plus thundering power chords, sizzling solos, shrewd melodic flights and even super-trippy moments – but all of it heavy on the heavy, as they say…always.

To top it off, Sasquatch have upped their game where the lyrics are concerned, devoting unprecedented attention to spinning engaging new yarns out of those evergreen rock and roll stories about love lost, hate found, relationships built and lives trashed, homes wrecked, etc. All’s fair in love and doom.

SASQUATCH - "IV" tracklisting:

1 ) THE MES SAGE
2 ) EYE OF THE STORM
3 ) SWEET LADY
4 ) MONEY
5 ) SMOKE S IGNAL
6 ) WOLVES AT MY DOOR
7 ) ME AND YOU
8 ) CORNER
9 ) DRAWING FLIES

SASQUATCH is:

Keith Gibbs: guitar, vox
Rick Ferrante: drums, percussion
Jason Casanova: bass, filing, red tape
