Relapse Records reissue ASG’s "Win Us Over" LP in March

North Carolinian heavy rockers ASG will see their 2007 stoner rock classic Win Us Over released on double vinyl via Relapse Records this March. The long out of print album was originally released via Volcom and put the band on the map for their infectious blend of punk rock, alternative metal and stoner rock. The album will see its official reissue on March 18th and is available for pre-order here. A trailer can be seen here.

Additionally the band recently announced a European tour in support of last year's critically acclaimed album Blood Drive, where they will be joined on the road by Canada's Anciients for two weeks of co-headlining dates. The tour kicks off with an appearance at the esteemed Roadburn Festival on April 10th and runs through April 26th, culminating at London's Desert Fest. A complete list of dates can be seen below.

ASG and ANCIIENTS announce European tour

ASG have confirmed a full European tour for this Spring. The North Carolinian heavy rockers will be joined on the road by Canada's Anciients. For tourposter see below.

The dates are in addition to the already-announced appearances at Roadburn festival in Tilburg, The Netherlands and Desert Fest in London, UK, where the tour will end.

Vocalist/guitarist, Jason Shi, commented: "The fellas and I are real excited to embark on another transatlantic rock voyage with Anciients! Should be good times and great shows! Wrapping up the tour in London for Desert Fest is going to be a real treat!"

This will be the first European outing for ASG since the release of last year's album, Blood Drive. The 12 track album was produced by Matt Hyde (Slayer, Fu Manchu) and released to broad critical acclaim. The striking artwork for the album was created by Malleus, an Italian trio who have previously been responsible for pieces for High on Fire, Swans and The Flaming Lips. LORD DYING and ASG confirmed for ROADBURN festival 2014

If there's one thing that unites everyone at the Roadburn festival it's riffs. Portland, Oregon hessians Lord Dying have knocked-out some of the tastiest, meatiest, riffs of recent times via their skull-cracking caveman metal debut album Summon The Faithless on Relapse Records, and so it is that the Roadburn festival announced that they will be playing Roadburn 2014 on Thursday, April 10th at the 013 venue in Tilburg, Holland.

Lord Dying’s debut album Summon The Faithless is a brutalist primitive take on the doomed fist-pounding head-banging mania of High On Fire, suffused with the rusty razor edge of early death metal. Scything, bludgeoning guitars rip and tear through flesh and bone as frontman Erik Olson spits bile like the bastard offspring of Cronos and Matt Pike.

North Carolina's ASG are currently celebrating their highest charting and most critically acclaimed album to date, their breakthrough release Blood Drive, which is their first for Relapse Records and fourth album to date. Blood Drive is a killer sludgy, psychedelic, hard rock and Southern (stoner) rock hybrid that brings to mind bands like Torche, old Queens of the Stone Age or Jane's Addiction with a fierce Southern twang.
