ANCIIENTS: EU European Spring Tour starts next week. Canadian summer headlining tour with BLACK COBRA and BLACK WIZARD announced!

Vancouver's critically-acclaimed Hard Rock quartet ANCIIENTS has announced a Canadian summer headlining tour. The Bravewords.com sponsored tour begins on June 17 in Vancouver, BC and runs for six weeks from coast to coast. The tour also includes BLACK COBRA and BLACK WIZARD. The JUNO-nominated band is currently preparing for their first ever European tour, which kicks off at Roadburn Festival on April 10th. ANCIIENTS will tour across Europe alongside North Carolina's heavy rockers ASG (featuring members of WILDLIGHTS).

ANCIIENTS are touring in support of their debut album, 'Heart of Oak', which has landed on several "best of 2013" year-end lists. 'Heart of Oak' is available on Season of Mist’s e-shop and streaming here.

ASG and ANCIIENTS announce European tour

ASG have confirmed a full European tour for this Spring. The North Carolinian heavy rockers will be joined on the road by Canada's Anciients. For tourposter see below.

The dates are in addition to the already-announced appearances at Roadburn festival in Tilburg, The Netherlands and Desert Fest in London, UK, where the tour will end.

Vocalist/guitarist, Jason Shi, commented: "The fellas and I are real excited to embark on another transatlantic rock voyage with Anciients! Should be good times and great shows! Wrapping up the tour in London for Desert Fest is going to be a real treat!"

This will be the first European outing for ASG since the release of last year's album, Blood Drive. The 12 track album was produced by Matt Hyde (Slayer, Fu Manchu) and released to broad critical acclaim. The striking artwork for the album was created by Malleus, an Italian trio who have previously been responsible for pieces for High on Fire, Swans and The Flaming Lips. In November, ASG unveiled the video for the track Scrappy's Trip, which featured live footage from a show in their hometown of Wilmington, NC. Watch the video here.

ANCIIENTS announce Roadburn 2014 Performance!

Vancouver's ANCIIENTS have announced an appearance as part of next year's Roadburn Festival. The band has been slated to play on Thursday, April 10th in Tilburg, NL. Ticket pre-sales for the Festival will be available on Oct. 1st, at the official Roadburn Festival website.

ANCIIENTS will join SEPULTURA on their U.S. tour in November. ANCIIENTS will join the SEPULTURA tour on November 8th, and continue through the remainder of dates. The tour will also see ANCIIENTS play alongside UNEARTH and KATAKLYSM. A new confirmed list of tour dates can be found below.

ANCIIENTS also recently announced a new North American tour alongside TESSERACT and SCALE THE SUMMIT. The "Altered State North America 2013" tour is scheduled to start on Thursday, October 10th, in Edmonton, AB and will run through the United States and Canada before ending on October 29th.

ANCIIENTS are touring in support of their debut album, 'Heart of Oak'. The critically-acclaimed record is streaming here, and available now across several formats. The band was recently showcased as the featured artist in the latest installment of "Converse x Decibel". A mini-documentary about how the vast woodlands  and epic mountain ranges of British Columbia influence the band's elaborate and progressive songs is streaming here.
