A STORM OF LIGHT announce 'Nations To Flames' tour 2014 with HARK & MGR

Through their own unique vision, A Storm Of Light combine the dynamics and the colossal energy of apocalyptic doom and pummelling sludge into the faster and more melodic side of heavy. In September 2013, STORM released their brand new album, Nations To Flames via Southern Lord, centering itself around the apex of human failure and bearing witness to the fall of all governments, all nations, and all religions.

Today we are pleased to announce the "Nations to Flames" tour across the UK and continental Europe with Welsh power trio Hark and M.G.R (aka Mike Gallagher from ISIS).

HARK premiere first new track, "Palendromeda", of their upcoming album! / HARK präsentieren ersten Song, "Palendromeda", vom kommenden Album!

Welsh heavy power-rock trio HARK featuring former TAINT frontman Jimbob Isaac on guitars and vocals, who is joined by the ex-WHYTELEAF members Nikolai Ribnikov (bass) and drummer Simon Bonwick are now premiering the first track taken from their forthcoming debut album "Crystalline". The phoenix of classical myth was considered to be a creature of great beauty. Bursting into flames at the end of its life cycle, the bird would be reborn out of the ashes of its predecessor. HARK share a similar fate as the trio is spawned from the remnants of celebrated British heavy rockers TAINT. The creative hand of frontman Jimbob Isaac can be clearly felt throughout HARK's fantastic debut album "Crystalline". Angular riffing, pounding rhythms, and dually melodic and his unrelentingly ferocious vocals lead to galloping passages that show the maturity of a band far more honed than expected from a debut. The Welsh did not leave any detail to chance, but carefully crafted music, lyrics and visuals into an all encompassing concept. This diligence includes having their first full-length mixed by Kurt Ballou of CONVERGE fame (KVELERTAK, TORCHE, ISIS), who added a powerful yet crystal clear production to HARK's unique sound. The artwork was personally designed and drawn by Jimbob Isaac, who is not just known as an outstanding musician but also working as an acclaimed graphic artist. "Crystalline" furthermore features guest vocals from Neil Fallon (CLUTCH) on the stunning track "Clear Light of....". HARK will literally rock the world with this release. HARK unveil cover art for 'Crystalline', which will be released worldwide in March 2014!

Welsh heavy rock power-trio HARK have finished recording their forthcoming Season of Mist debut, entitled ‘Crystalline’. The album was recorded at Monnow Valley Studios in Wales (BLACK SABBATH, RUSH, JUDAS PRIEST, PORTISHEAD), and mixed by CONVERGE guitarist Kurt Ballou (CONVERGE, HIGH ON FIRE, KVELERTAK, YOUNG WIDOWS), and will hit the stores on March 14th in Germany and the Benelux, March 17th in the UK, France, and the rest of Europe, and March 18th in North America. HARK has already released the 'Mythopoeia' 7” single, which they managed to sell out on tours with RED FANG and CLUTCH.

The Welsh progressive-power-sludge trio carry TAINT's torch forward, passed on from their legacy that began in 1994. With fresh chops and almighty riff power, HARK continue to fuse punk attack with Sabbathian dirge, and decorate post-whatever angularities with classic rock flourish. While Isaac's vocals expand on his tried and tested palette, his lyrics continue to shatter prose with bleak metaphor and acerbic spittle. Made of the former WHYTELEAF rhythm section Nikolai Ribnikov and Simon Bonwick, the HARK engine bring an OCD approach to song craft, and endlessly creative pummel. Their dynamic chops and blood lust for riffs meld with Isaac's honed and equally determined musical vision.

Regarding the recording of ‘Crystalline’, main man Jimbob Isaac stated: "Fingers to the bone. That has been one of our mottos since HARK's inception, and it carried us through to the recording studio. Long days, little sleep and grim determination made this record the beast that we believe it to be. We pushed ourselves in all kinds of ways, and that commitment resonates throughout. We're having fun biding our time, but there's only so long you can keep a bull in its pen."
